Introducing Wealth Building 101!

My goal is to make big concepts easy to understand.

My Investing ABCs series is still a work in progress. As I draft new posts, I’m realizing that, in it’s current format, the series is getting a bit too big and a bit too broad. Tragically, this might overwhelm some readers which is the exact opposite of what I want to achieve!

I need a reduction. I need to boil down my recipes for success to only the essential ingredients.

Well, let it be known that I am not afraid of do overs! If there is a better way to do something, I’m happy to incorporate new ideas and adjust as needed.

In personal finance, there are A LOT of intertwining concepts and it can all be a lot to digest.

So I’ll be making some changes soon:

  1. I intend to reorganize my Investing ABCs series. This will probably be gradual tweaking, so expect to see the list of topics in that series shift around over time. Posts in this series should only focuses on the fundamentals that I want you to know before you start investing. Posts that go beyond that will be relocated to a better home, once I figure out where that is!
  2. With this in mind, I am spinning up a new series! (Woohoo!) I shall call it: Wealth Building 101

Why Wealth Building 101?

Ultimately, I want you to live within your means (see my Life of Pie series) and invest your money wisely (see my Investing ABCs series).

But why? Why should you care about these topics? What’s in it for you?

I know you are smart enough to already have guessed it… yup, it’s really all about building wealth!

Saving and investing are two essential activities that helps you build wealth over time. If you build wealth, you build financial security. Your life feels more stable. Ultimately, you gain control over your time, your money, and your life.

Doesn’t that sound pretty great? Well now that I’ve peaked your interest, please don’t run away while I dive into my next post: the exiting world of tax planning! (I promise it’s not as bad as it sounds!)
